The gas bbq is quickly becoming an essential piece of cooking equipment for all year round use. You could even create a cooking shelter as part of the garden landscape and then you will have an accessible, convenient way of producing those tasty grilled steaks and sumptuous kebabs, spicy chicken and of course grilled sausages all year round. We recently had a supper party and decided to splash out on some fillet steak. The only grill big enough to cook steak for 10 people was the barbecue so we created an outdoor barbecue area for winter using our 5-burner beefeater gas bbq. We cooked the steaks perfectly and were able to serve them all at the same time. A touch of summer in November cannot be a bad thing!

It is official that the sales of items like barbecues and garden parasols are affected by the weather according to the BBC's report on BBC Breakfast this morning.
